General Questions

How long does a typical fence installation take?

Most residential fence installations take 1-3 days, depending on the size and complexity of your project. We'll provide a specific timeline during your free consultation.

Do I need a permit for my fence?

Permit requirements vary by city and municipality in the Tulsa area. We're familiar with local regulations and can help guide you through the permitting process. Generally, fences over 6 feet require permits in most areas.

How far in advance should I schedule my installation?

We recommend scheduling 2-4 weeks in advance during our busy season (spring and summer). However, we can often accommodate rush projects depending on our current workload.

Do you offer financing options?

Yes, we offer flexible financing options for qualified customers. Contact us to discuss payment plans that work with your budget.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Owasso, Bixby, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Glenpool, and surrounding areas in Northeast Oklahoma.

Materials & Maintenance

What's the best fence material for Oklahoma weather?

For Oklahoma's climate with hot summers and occasional severe weather, cedar and vinyl are excellent choices. Cedar naturally resists rot and insects, while vinyl is virtually maintenance-free and won't warp or crack.

How do I maintain a cedar fence?

Cedar fences benefit from periodic staining or sealing (every 2-3 years) to maintain their appearance and longevity. Without treatment, cedar will naturally age to a silver-gray color but remains structurally sound.

Will vinyl fencing fade in the sun?

Quality vinyl fencing (like what we install) includes UV inhibitors that prevent fading. While some slight color change may occur over many years, it's minimal and the fence will maintain its appearance.

How long do different fence types last?

With proper maintenance: Cedar 15-30 years, Vinyl 20-30 years, Aluminum 20-30+ years, Chain Link 25-50+ years, Ornamental Iron 25-50+ years. We use premium materials to maximize longevity.

Can I paint or stain my fence?

Cedar and wood fences can be painted or stained. Vinyl and aluminum come pre-finished and don't require painting. We can discuss finish options during your consultation.

Installation & Process

Do you remove old fences?

Yes, we can remove and dispose of your existing fence. We'll provide a quote for removal during your consultation. The cost varies based on fence type and length.

Will you mark utility lines before installation?

Absolutely. We contact Oklahoma 811 (Okie811) to have all underground utilities marked before we dig any post holes. This is a required safety step for every project.

What if my property line is unclear?

We recommend having your property surveyed by a professional surveyor if property lines are unclear. Installing a fence on your neighbor's property can lead to legal issues. We can work from existing survey stakes if available.

Do you install gates?

Yes, we install all types of gates including pedestrian gates, double drive gates, and automatic gate operators. Gates are custom-built to match your fence.

What happens if there's bad weather during installation?

We monitor weather conditions closely and will reschedule if severe weather is forecast. Your safety and the quality of installation are our top priorities.
